My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tad was owner surrender for reasons not given to a very High Kill rural shelter in Athens, GA. He was given a few days to find a home or rescue, and non was forth-coming. His information was sent to me and when I realize how dire his situation was I began begging for help from the GA rescue community to get him out for me. A lady stepped up and literally Tad was 15 minutes from being sent to the Gas Chamber. Yes, I said Gas Chamber. Many shelters across this country still gas animals to death.

Tad is a wonderful day and I am so glad we could save his life. He is a happy boy, and he deserves to live and to have a chance to find a loving family. Tad loves people, and to share some time on the couch, eat a couple good meals a day and to be greeted with a pet and a hug each morning. He is content to snooze the day away, and then share some snuggles and then back to sleep. He enjoys gentle walks, and a few romps in the yard. He is overall a low energy dog, perfectly low maintenance both in activity and grooming. Min pins require nail trims, ear cleaning and a quick brushing with an occasional bath. They are very much a wash and go dog.
Tad would love to be considered by a family with or without children, though probably not very young toddler age children. Older kids that know how to treat dogs respectfully, would be fine.
RRMPM does not adopt to homes with electric underground fences. Tadd's adoption fee is $75.00
