Sebastian's Story...
Sebastian would like to tell you about himself. I am a male Pomeranian who was born about 1/2009. I am neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on shots. I was used for my services as a stud dog, you see I came from a puppy mill. Prior to coming into rescue I never knew what it was to have a loving hand pet you, to know warmth from the cold in the winter, and shade from the summer heat. I had one purpose in life to make money for the owner of the mill. Those days are behind me now and I deserve a home that will spoil me rotten. Due to my past I will not be good with very young children, but he does great with other dogs. Will you be the one to give me a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a baton rouge Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in baton rouge, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in baton rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in baton rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a baton rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in baton rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
