Toby's Story...
Toby is the sweetest little boy ever! He is a little shy but as soon as you pick him up he snuggles and gives you a kiss on the cheek. He was rescued from a high shelter with no story. Not sure if he was a stray or owner surrender but someone lost a special little dog, for sure! Toby weighs about 13 to 15 lbs and is 5 months old. He has curly wire hair and does not appear to be a shedder. If you would like to make Toby a part of your family, you may email lorainecm@comcast.net or paste the following link into your browser. http://www.poochesonthemove.net/one-more-last-chance-rescue.html

It will answer most of your questions and you can also access an application to apply from there. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Harrisonburg Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
