Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey everyone! My name is Dozer and I am ready to find my forever home!!! I came from a family with kids, but they moved somewhere they couldn't take me. I was picked up by my foster family in February, 2013, and have been relaxing into my new situation ever since. As you can tell by my ears, I'm not a typical english bully. My foster parents refer to me as the Giant Frenchie (and I kinda love that moniker). I share a lot of traits with french bulldogs too - I am playful, energetic, vocal and a quite the snuggler! When I am playing, I like to be as close to my foster family as possible - even climbing on a lap if need be.
I have adjusted to life in my foster home well! I love to play and chew on toys I know are mine. My favorite is my Kong - I bring it out of my kennel every time the door is opened (it's kind of like my security blanket). I could chew that thing for days! I am house- and crate-trained and have not had any accidents. If asked, I will stay off the furniture (though I would really like to snuggle in next to you). I know sit, stay and shake, and walk pretty well on a leash (I may get a little excited when I see a bunny or squirrel, but really, what dog doesn't?).
So I sound pretty awesome, right? I know I am, and I really want a family all to myself! I am not a fan of competition, so a home with no other dogs is best for me (how else would I get all the attention?). In fact I prefer not having any skin kids either - hey what can I say, it needs to be all about me after all!
I am a happy boy and love being near my foster parents at every opportunity. I love to have my ears scratched and my belly rubbed - that is the life! I received a clean bill of health from the vet and I am ready to meet you!
Thank you to everyone at IEBR and all the fans for saving me!
Love, Dozer
