Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the gorgeous Chance! He is estimated to be a one year old husky mix and what a looker he is! Chance was rescued about 8 weeks ago from an Eastern Washington shelter where he was in danger of losing his life. As you can see Chance loves the opportunity to run and play in the mud, hang out at the beach, and go hiking! Being that Chance is a Husky mix, he is seeking a home that is very active who likes to go on runs, long walks, and hikes. Chance also needs a home with a fenced backyard as he is still working on his recall, but he really needs a place to run and run. We also ask that his new home not be a condo or apartment as Huskies can get be very loud and energetic at times, which may annoy the neighbors.
Chance does very well with the male German Shepherd in his foster home and the small Yorkie. We must clarify though that the Yorkie thinks she is a big dog and plays like a big dog. If you have a small companion dog that is fearful, Chance would not be a good fit. Chance did also show interest in chasing cats, so a home without cats is probably in his best interest, or an experienced person who knows how to properly work with that. Chance really is an amazing guy and is sure to make an active family very happy!
