VALENTINE's Story...
Valentine got her name because she was rescued from the local kill shelter on Valentine's Day & she also captured my heart on that day. I fell head over heels in love with her the first few seconds I was around her. She has the most darling & outgoing personality in the world. She is not your run of the mill Lab. She is very beautiful & her coat is so soft & silky (also a little longer than average Labs) that you can't quit petting her. Valentine is also very playful - she loves to run & play with her buddies, toys & sticks. Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky. She has been spayed, is up to date on all shots, worming, heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

VALENTINE, a Humboldt Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Humboldt, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy from a breeder in Humboldt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humboldt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humboldt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humboldt paves the way for another one to be saved.
