My name is Archer!

Boxer Dog for adoption in Reno, Nevada - Archer

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Archer's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Archer's Story...
Archer is the poster boy for “good dog”. He is housebroken. He is well behaved. He loves kids. He likes cats. He is good with other dogs. So why is he in rescue?

Archer was in a home where he was used to make puppies. When his live-in girlfriend had puppies, Archer was no longer wanted and ended up in the shelter.

We have not finished his formal evaluation, but so far Archer has been a perfect gentleman. Check bak in as we will add new information about Archer as it becomes available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archer, a Reno Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Reno, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
