Gray Boy's Story...
Gray Boy is our BIG TEDDY BEAR cat! He craves attention and really enjoys companionship - being pet, held, cuddled, kissed. He jumps up into his rescue mom's lap, kneads her with his front paws then snuggles up for a cozy nap! He sleeps in bed curled up next to his foster mom's head and stays theee all night. Bath time - he is easy to lather up and water down in the tub. He enjoys looking out all the windows and playing with his toys - likes batting things around with his paws. If you are looking for a young adult around one and a half years old as a new addition to your family who gets along well with children and other cats, please come to visit him at the Leesburg Petsmat on Saturdays 11am-3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gray Boy, a Reston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
