My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colorado Chocolate Perfection also known as “Sophie”. You may not be able to find a more perfect dachshund than Sophie unless you are looking at her dear friend “Daisy”. Sophie is a wonderful companion dachshund. She is incredibly sweet, very reliably house trained, really has gotten along with every animal and human she has met. She is affectionate, happy, cuddly, walks very well on the leash and definitely enjoys car rides. Sophie’s only flaw, which is not a true flaw and is certainly not her fault, is the 24 pounds she is carrying on a 16-pound frame. So, Sophie, as Daisy, has had to get her nutrition and feeding habits back into check by eating twice a day and exact portions combined with daily walks. Sophie’s ideal Colorado home will have a human home often enough to give her plenty of love and EXERCISE and hopefully another sweet canine companion to play with. To meet this awesome dachshund an adoption application must be filled out and submitted. This can be done online at www.c2cdr.org. Sophie’s adoption fee is $150.00. All of our rescue dogs come fully vetted.
