Clancy's Story...
Clancy is absolutley GORGEOUS! With his soft, black furr and adorable face - he is one of the best looking kittens around. And if that's not enough to win your heart, his personality surely will. He is full of love and enjoys being help, pet, cuddled and kissed. He purrs up a storm to let you know how happy he is that you love and care for him. During the day, he naps in one of his carpet condos or on the master bed with the down comforters. He also enjoys lounging on the window sills and watching the outdoors. Come playtime - it's fun to watch him bat the toys around and chase them - especially the crinkle balls. Interactive playtime is also loads of fun as he competes with the other kittens for the feather wands and hunts down the laser light as it races across the floor. This is one special kitty! If you are interested in fostering or adopting him, stop by the Leesburg Petsmart on Saturdays 11am-3pm to see him. Estimated DOB is 6/19/2012. Clancy was rescued with Clara.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clancy, a Reston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
