Sunny's Story...
We received a call letting us know a cat was living in the Guadalupe landfill! Poor Sunny, he was dumped to starve and roam in this terrible place. A group of kind people saw him getting skinnier and skinnier. We were finally able to rescue him. Sunny is the friendliest orange tabby ever. We know he was abused but he's super sweet and talktative. We have a special place in our heart for orange tabbies. And Sunny is the best! Please give this wonderful boy a home he can call his own after his terrible ordeal.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a San Jose Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
