If sweet, small and snuggly are on your list -- minus the small -- meet Remington! He was an owner surrender to a high-kill shelter in Arkansas because his owners complained he barked in the yard. Any dog with half a brain would bark if he was confined by himself 24/7 to a backyard with no human interaction. Since Remy was pulled into rescue, he's been fostered in a loving home with kids and other dogs . . . and still hasn't made a peep!! He simply wanted to be part of a family (can you blame him?). With his gentle temperament and his affectionate personality, Remington has all the makings of a best friend -- in fact, a trainer of therapy dogs said Remington has potential as a therapy dog because of his stellar temperament. He is great with all the children in the home, plays nicely with the other dogs, and even takes naps in his foster dad's lap resting his big Golden head on his foster dad's chest -- so adorable!! Remington is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old, he weighs about 60 pounds and is a healthy boy. We're not sure of his mix - - any guesses??
