Twalla's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Twalla's Story...
Twalla is a bashful, 7-month-old, female pointer mix. She will be a medium to large dog, and need a home with a secure fenced yard to play in. Twalla can easily be around other dogs, or entertain herself. Her favorite thing to do is play ball. Twalla will do best in a home without small children. She needs a family who will really be patient with her and bring her out of her shell. Upon adoption, Twalla will be spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $66.00. Please visit http://ccpaac.org/ to download an adoption application and email it back to info@ccpaac.org. You can TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information.

You can visit Twalla at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:45 and Saturday 1-4:45 p.m. Make sure you ask for Jerrod or Stephanie when you go visit!

*Dogs require monthly heartworm prevention so please research this expense before adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twalla, a Corpus Christi Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Pointer puppy from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
