Raven's Story...
Raven is a lab mix and will be a smaller dog. She's six months old and just under 30 pounds. She's a happy girl who snuggles against you the minute she meets you. She loves other dogs and adores attention from human friends. Raven is so cute when she wiggles into a cozy blanket. Her foster parents tell us she's very adaptable and fits in easily with the family and other dogs - we think she'd do great in any type of household. A beautiful thing about Raven was her gratefulness when she left the shelter. She knew she'd been saved and was full of kisses and hugs. She's a beautiful young dog with an equally beautiful nature. To learn more about her and meet her - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Raven is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
