Prince's Story...
Prince is a poodle mix and is 8 years old. He is 34 pounds and is a long legged, sweet boy. He is playful and likes to play with other dogs. He is not too interested in cats, but may be curious about them if there are no other dogs around to pay attention to. He would be great in a home with older children. He was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter along with his relative, Cody. Prince has more confidence than Cody; however, and is not as scared in new situations or around new people. Prince is a well behaved dog and does not jump up onto things or people. He will require regular grooming because of his poodle hair. He is also housetrained and an all around adorable, happy guy. Like Cody, he likes the recliner and thinks he is a lap dog. He freely gives kisses. Prince is neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, and microchipped. Prince got all of his teeth cleaned and three old man doggie warts removed! He is such a handsome and well mannered boy. If you would like to make Prince a part of your family then please email St. Martin’s at and ask for an application for Prince.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Sheridan Poodle (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Poodle (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
