Frankie's Story...
Hi, I was named Frankie after the Animal Control Officer who has been keeping me from being euthanized so that I could get the chance to be adopted into a wonderful, loving home. I am not the most handsome dog you'll ever meet, but I definitely have the best disposition of any dog you'll ever meet! I am 3 to 3 1/2 years old, weigh 56 pounds, and am a mixture of retriever and just plain mutt. I have webbed feet so probably have lab in me, too. I am red with a big splash of white on my chest and belly and white on my toes and a splash of white by my nose. I have very comical ears with usually one up and one semi-erect. I haven't yet had the chance to be around kids, but have been gentle with all the adults I've met and have a mellow, not hyper personality. I am fine with other dogs and would make a great addition to your household if you are looking for a second dog. I haven't been around cats, but seem a bit too curious about them to probably do well with them. I seem to be housetrained, am crate trained and walk well on a leash. I am neutered, current on shots, dewormed and will be micro chipped before going home with you. My adoption donation is $200. Please call (602) 578-7767 or email BrendaForPets@cox.net for more information or to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Phoenix Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
