HONEY BEAR's Story...
Please contact liz at liz@startrescue.org if you want to meet the sweetest girl on the planet.

Honey Bear is wonderful with children, great with other dogs. Her family had to give her up because they forclosed on their house. Honey Bear may also be good with cats as she used to live with a couple of them.

She is about 1-2 years old, house trained, loves to go on walks, good on a leash and knows some commands already.

She regularly visits the dog park and she LOVES it!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HONEY BEAR, a Valley Village Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Valley Village, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Valley Village.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Village already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Village breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Village paves the way for another one to be saved.
