Cosmo's Story...
Hi! My name is Cosmo. I'm a playful young fellow eagerly awaiting my new furever home. It is very important that my new home does not have other cats or dogs living there. I don't get along with them. After all, why allow someone else get precious attention that can be going to me? One of my favorite toys is stuffed mice. I got nuts over them! When I'm not busy playing, I love to hang out with people. I am very affectionate and enjoy giving kisses to my human friends. I would be a great addition to a family wanting only one animal in the house, or for someone looking for a friend for life. I'm committed to you for the long haul. Can you make that commitment to me?

Cosmo is current on his vaccinations, parasite-free, neutered, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. If you are interested in meeting Cosmo, please call Donna at (201) 873-7533 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosmo, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
