Casey's Story...
Meet Casey - Casey is a beautiful mixed breed female approximately 7-9 month girl with unusual blue eyes.

She was found in early February 2013 by a rescuer who couldn’t resist her sweet personality and wiggly butt. Since her rescue, Casey has gotten healthier and gained lots of confidence and now enjoys romping and playing tug-a- war with the big dogs.

Casey is working with a dog trainer to learn proper doggy manners. Her skin is currently being treated for non-contagious skin irritation common in dogs that have been rescued. When the medication for that is finished she will be spayed and available for adoption.

Adorable Casey currently has to live in a boarding facility because she does not have a foster home. It is a shame she is spending her short puppyhood living in a kennel. If you can foster her, please let us know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Houston Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
