Sarek's Story...
Hi! my name is Sarek and I am looking for a loving, furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach in Puerto Rico with my 3 siblings who have all been adopted. I hope now it is my turn. I am being fostered in Brooklyn and my foster family loves me. I am great with their young children and cats :)). I love to play but I love to snuggle up on the couch as well :)). I am about 12 weeks old, fully vaccinated, about 6 lbs and full grown will be about 20 lbs. If you would like to meet me please email Meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Sarek :))

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarek, a Madison Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shih Tzu for sale in Madison, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
