My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a male Chinese Crested/Shih Tzu mix. I am about 8 years old. I am neutered, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea and heartworm prevention.
My adoption is $100.

I was rescued from Animal Control where I was impounded as a stray. I had heartworms and was unable to be adopted out at the shelter. I was very lucky that A New Beginning was able to rescue me.

I have been treated for heartworms and have gone through the recovery period. I just need to stay on heartworm prevention and be retested 6 months from the treatment date.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.
