Willow's Story...
Willow! Everyone in the rescue is in love with Willow. She has been through so much this past few weeks. She had her eye removed and a growth ( which was not malignant) and her spay but through it all she has been happy, loving and a delight! She now just needs to find her forever home! Just look at the pictures and you will see how far Willow has come! Willow was DUMPED at a shelter with her baby and naturally her baby was adopted quickly, but poor little Willow was left behind. We could barely see her face for the matted hair but we knew underneath all that hair was a beautiful girl. She is around 3 1/2-4 years old and is a perfect dog! She will have her stitches removed this next week and will be ready to find a loving home. Willow's adoption fee is 175.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Ogden Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
