Kenny-Pug/Chi X Male puppy, 3-9-13

Kenny and his sister, Kerri were left in a high kill rural shelter as tiny 6 week old puppies.
They were taken into a Rescue foster home, where they have thrived and grown. Now at
7# and 8-10 weeks, they are ready to find their new homes. Kenny has been living with
other dogs and cats without any problems. His adoption fee is $275 to help with the medical
expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenny, a Germantown Pug/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
