My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dakota. I am a handsome 6yr old neutered blue merle male. I was dumped off at the shelter with a bad case of heartworms. Thanks to a team of rescue people and donations, I received heartworm treatment and am feeling much better. I love to snuggle while you watch TV, give kisses, go for car rides and walks. I am crate trained and housebroken. I can sit, shake hands and lay down. I get along with cats and most dogs (so will prefer he goes to a home with a female or submissive male). Please won't you make me your new buddy, I'll give you so much love in return!!

Dakota does ok with kids but gets anxious when there is too much activity going on (kids running playing/yelling). He prefers a quieter home with maybe just adults.

This handsome guy is fostered in Tampa.
