My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Byron had one of those rough starts in life that your heart goes out to. When his fosters found him he had been roaming in a dog park for over 9 hours. A couple came up to them and let them know the circumstances and said they were going to call animal control. Byron was dumped in a dog park with a ripped collar, no tags, and was going from person to person trying to find a home. He was a super sweet dog with all the other dogs, but really just wanted the love and affection from all the people. To this day Byron would still rather be with people, but is great with other dogs. Byron, being a big puppy, attracts kids of all ages; and best of all is great with them. He is also good with cats; he just leaves them alone. Some of Byron’s best attributes are that he doesn’t have the demeanor of a puppy. He is very calm and submissive. On top of that he is the softest dog you will ever come across. Every time Byron and his foster parents go anywhere, especially dog parks, all they hear is how handsome and soft he is. Byron is a very smart and adaptable boy. He knows sit, lay, stay, and leave it. Byron loves to fetch squeaky toys and knows how to drop them. Byron’s ideal day would be a lot of love from his people, some back rubs, and some fetch; then to end it all with cuddles on the bed. Byron is about 9 months old and is working on being crate trained, as well as house trained. Ever since being at his foster’s house he has had only one accident, which was on his first day. Byron currently lives with dogs, cats, and kids; he fits in well. He would be an easy addition to any household. Byron deserves a chance to know that he can truly belong somewhere.
