Meet Simon! Simon is a sweet, gorgeous, 2 year old male GSD. He landed at a local selter and his time ran out, so rescue was called to give his a second chance at life!

Simon is a very affectionate boy, and he loves to be right with you. He gets along well with other dogs, and loves people and children of all ages and sizes. He did show a lot of interest in cats, so he would probably do best in a home without any resident felines.

Simon is utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has been neutered and microchipped.

Simon must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Our adoption fee is $425, which includes the ground transport fee ($125) for dogs who traveled to their new home and the health certificate fee ($50) that is required by the USDA for all animals crossing state lines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
