Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Oscar 2740
Age: 3 years
Color: Red Sable
Coat: Longhair
Sex: Male/Neutered
Size: Mini -12 lbs
Oscar was surrendered by his owners due to some socialization issues with his female owner. He has not shown any issues in his foster home with the resident man and woman. He is very loving and loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. He is a gorgeous dog.
Oscar is well socialized with people and all sizes of dogs. He has not been around children or cats in his previous home or current foster home. He is currently going on long walks twice a day and he loves them. He also has the doxie penchant for toys and loves destuffing them. He enjoys a good game of fetch especially with tennis balls.
Oscar is living with a female and male dachshund and gets along well with them. He is crate trained and is sleeping in a crate at night in the foster home bedroom.
Oscar does get barky when new people enter his home. We think an obedience class would be great for him to help him realize he does not have to be protective.
Oscar is healthy and current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in Oscar, please fill out an adoption application and e-mail Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Oscar is $250.00.
