BODEY, 1.5 years old male Weim/Dobie Mix. Bodey is friendly and smart. He wants to please his humans and learns super fast! His foster family describes him as AMAZING, protective, loyal, energetic, stubborn, and goofy. Bodey is a rare find! He is an expert at the commands “sit, down, shake, and sit up”. He does tend to want to do his own thing when on leash. He is house trained and is used to being in his crate for short periods of time when his humans are away. He sleeps quietly on his bed all night. He is also a great car passenger – he just curls up on the seat and sleeps. Bodey loves to play ball, jog with his human, play fetch, swim, and would really enjoy learning something like agility, as he has a very high energy level. He would do best with at least one stay at home/work from home parent. He prefers all the attention from his forever family, so kids are not recommended, however he is fine with cats – just wants to play with them. When tested with livestock (chickens and horses), he was curious and responded to "leave it alone." He will chase squirrels, birds, deer, etc. He loves to hang around with other dogs, so a dog buddy would be a great thing for him. Bodey is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Fostered in Rocklin.
