Spenser!'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Spenser!'s Story...
Spenser is a beautiful boy looking for a great home! His mom was reportedly a newfie and pop was a neighbors lab.....whatever he is, we know he is super cute! Spenser is about 6 mos old and currently is about 50lbs or so. He came from a home where he was neglected so can be shy at first, but just give him an hour or so and he is all puppy! He loves to snuggle and is learning how to run and play with toys!

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.

We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spenser!, a Sacramento Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
