Clover's Story...
MEOW! I'm Clover, a small female tortoise shell with a big personality. I am 4 years old and came to ADOPT when my family could no longer care for me. I really miss them, and hope to get to go to my new forever home soon. I'm great with kids, but a little nervous around other cats. I'm a really sweet little girl who has so much love to give. I like to play, but also like to relax and be quiet at times. Come to ADOPT and meet me...maybe you can be my new family.

Cover came to ADOPT in March of 2013 when her family was no longer able to keep her. She was born around March of 2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
