Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a not for profit, no kill animal rescue group. Our mission is to help with the high kill rate that is unfortunately unavoidable at overcrowded animals shelters. We focus on pulling dogs from shelters in Alabama and Georgia because we see a great need in these areas and feel that we can help eliminate many euthanasia by providing a temporary place and veterinary care for shelter dogs until they can be matched with a family. We believe there is a home and family waiting for each and everyone of these pets if just given the time to find them.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We participate in monthly adoption events in the NY area
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $300 and an application process is followed for all adoptions. A forever agreement is also required for all potential adoptive families to complete before the adoption is finalized
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We pull our dogs from high kill, over crowded animal shelters in the southern states and give them a second chance and all the time they need to find their forever families. We transport our adoptable pets to New York for monthly adoption events. All dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seth, a Pelham Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Pelham, or seeking a Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Pelham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pelham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pelham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pelham paves the way for another one to be saved.
