Romeo - Adoption Pending's Story...
Meet the Romeo!! The strong, silent type.

Romeo was found wandering around a rural area in South Baja, Mexico. Luckily, our rescue partner picked him up and took him to the vet where they discovered he was heartworm positive. Romeo had to stay at the vet for months while undergoing treatment but he now has a clean bill of health. He made the trip to Vancouver a few weeks ago and has been adjusting well to his new home & climate! He is fostered with another dog and regularly goes to the dog park with his foster family. We feel Romeo will easily transition to his approved furever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo - Adoption Pending, a Vancouver Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
