Sheba's Story...
Sheba is a beautiful Husky mix who would love to come up north this winter. Right now she is weighing in at a lean, mean 30 pounds. We believe she is full grown any may have some Sheba Inu in her. She acts like a very young dog; she’s probably about a year old.

She plays and interacts well with other dogs. Most Husky’s enjoy being outside and active. A camping or hiking family would be a good fit for this girl.

Sheba is being fostered in Knoxville, TN and will be transported via PETS LLC transport service once a family has been found for. All dogs receive monthly heartworm and flea treatment while in foster care. Prior to being transported, Sheba will have one more visit to her vet to get a health certificate.

All of our dogs are micro chipped and registered to the adoptive family.

Sheba’ adoption and transportation fee is $300.00. This will not in any way cover all of the expenses we have incurred in her care, any additional monies in the form of a donation will be appreciated. Friends Fur Life is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

If you are interested in making Sheba a member of your family, please email us at FRIENDSFURLIFENE@VERIZON.NET. We can answer your questions and email you an adoption application. Please consider your life style before taking in a new family member. Remember these guys live to be with you so please make sure you have time to love them and provide the attention they so desperately want.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Haverhill Husky/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shiba Inu for sale in Haverhill, or seeking a Husky/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Haverhill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haverhill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haverhill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Husky/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haverhill paves the way for another one to be saved.
