Dante's Story...
Hi, I'm Dante and I am the sweetest boy you will ever meet.... such pretty soft fawn colored fur with black on my back. If I look soft and gentle, that's because I am. I am a HOUND mix, born approximately 11/2011, and they say I am very submissive and I just crave attention....I so WANT TO BE WANTED AND LOVED.
You see, my heart's desire is just to be safe and loved by kind people who will be my forever family. I had been abandoned and I was lost deep in the woods, with no houses in sight and no hope of finding my way out of those woods. That is until, someone who was just visiting the area, happened to see and rescued me. Boy, was I ever happy and relieved to see someone...I knew I was going to be saved!
They took me to the Humane Society where I was so grateful to have a warm bed, shelter, clean water and food...and I was safe. All of the other dogs told me that my life was now going to be changed ....I would have a real family that would treasure me and I would be the happiest boy in the world!
They say I will be PERFECT FOR ANY FAMILY as I am so easy going, loving, affectionate and just plain wonderful! I'm great with other dogs, I love people and kids...I'm just a GREAT DOG!
If you are looking for a sweet boy who will love you forever and be your new best forever fur friend, then you are have found me, Dante!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dante, a Hot Springs Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hot Springs, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hot Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hot Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hot Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hot Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
