Reese's Story...
Reese was found on the street, disoriented and skittish, yet friendly and responsive to affection. While nervous at first, she settled down quickly in her foster home. Reese is very submissive and loves playing with other dogs. Unexpected loud noises and sudden movements still scare her, but she wants so much to please, give love and be loved. Reese is very sweet, smart and a quick learner. She would be a great family dog!

If you are interested in meeting Reese, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Reese is 1 year old and about 47 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Marina del Rey Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
