Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A Naval Discharge brought Big Boy and Jeeves to the ACF…
Big Boy and his feline buddy Jeeves were happily carrying out their duties of greeting everyone who came to the Welcome Center on the base.
They thought they had a fine life hanging out, being fed, getting pets and enjoying the company of visitors to the center.
The powers that be thought otherwise and Big Boy and Jeeves were forced to retire from service.
“But, who will greet the people?” asked Big Boy.
“We have staff for that,” was the reply.
“But, who will keep down the rodent population? We’re really good at that!” said Jeeves.
“We’ll take care of the rodents, you two need to get fixed and find a home.”
Jeeves turned to his buddy, “What do they mean fixed? What’s wrong with us?”
“Don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with us. We’ll be fine.”
So Big Boy and Jeeves were brought to the ACF where they are each waiting to meet the person who will give them a loving home now that they’ve left the service.
Both cats are social and friendly, coming up to say hello to anyone who enters their room. Big Boy goes the extra yard and stands at the door looking at you and meowing, “Hello! Won’t you come in and spend some time with me?”
Big Boy is super affectionate and loves sitting in your lap or hanging with you on the floor.
His markings are unique, making him quite a handsome boy. At first glance, he looks white with black, but when you look closer you can see chocolate mixed in.
He is a bold and confident cat who just wants everyone to like him and he seems to like everyone he meets. Quite the diplomat is our Big Boy.
Are you looking for a calm and self assured cat who loves people? If you are, Big Boy may be just the cat for you!
You can meet Big Boy at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays).
If you are interested in adopting Big Boy, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption counselors are on call every day between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
