Meet Penny a very beautiful, very sweet, social kitten who will melt your heart once you meet her. She will make a fabulous addition to any family.
She was born on January 19 in the foster mom's home along with her sisters Liana, Persephone and Anna who are also available for adoption. The kittens' mother was rescued from Chicago Animal Control in early January.
Given her age we think she would do well with dogs although she has not exposed to them. With slow introductions and as long as your dog is good with kitties she should be just fine.
Penny's foster home is in Bolingbrook which is where you would go to meet her after an adoption application is received and reviewed. An application is required prior to scheduling an appointment for a meet and greet with these wonderful, social kittens so that we can learn a little bit more about you. Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.
The adoption fee is $125.00 and includes: The spaying which is not yet done, kitty box trained, microchip, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, up to date on routine vaccinations for Distemper-panleukopenia-calicivirus-chlamydia- rhinotracheitis, deworming, and given revolution. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital or Wheaton Animal Hospital, and a coupon booklet for Petco.
