Ramona's Story...
I came to AWLMC from a lady that networks with local rescue groups to find homes for homeless pets. I was originally found abandoned in the Montgomery County Humane Society’s parking lot. I am a gorgeous medium haired calico. I am beautiful and know it! I am super cute too! I am sweet and love attention. I will climb in your lap and lay down to sleep or just hang out. I also like to be held and to sleep in bed with you. I am affectionate and will purr and give head butts. I enjoy playing and love to tunnel under blankets. I love the laser light pointer and toy mice. I am active and on the go. I like to be in the middle of the action. Come see me today! I was born in 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ramona, a Gaithersburg Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
