Luke's Story...
Hi, I’m Luke, a very sweet 6 year old boy. I was rescued from a mill where I lived my entire life. I love people, but do not like other animals. I must be the only dog because I want all the attention. I am working on house training & have learned to go out the doggie door at my foster home. I love to sleep in the big bed & I sleep all night like a log, I love chewing on bones too. If I sound like the boy for you, please let me know. Luke is up to date on all shots, microchipped, de-wormed, on heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and also had a dental. Luke’s adoption fee is $200.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Bridgeton Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
