Ginny's Story...
Ginny touched our hearts and this cat and kid friendly little gal needed help PDQ so we said yes. At IDGSR we are a dog rescue first and breed specific second and Rescue isn't always about trying to pull the perfect dogs because there is nothing perfect in this world but Ginny is such a sweetheart we knew we had to help her. Ginny is in a foster home with children, cats and other dogs. Ginny is another unfortunate victim of a throw away society that does not take pet ownership seriously or responsibly. We want to give Ginny a chance at a wonderful and happy life and if you are that family, please apply with the rescue.

Each dog's adoption donation varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)
$250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Greeneville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
