Harley's Story...
Harley is a sweet gentle girl who likes to follow you from room to room. She is good with other dogs, and has grown up with small breed dogs, as well as dogs her own size, and she does very well with them. She has no prior experiences with children, however she is in foster care with a 3 year old, and does fabulous with the little girl. If you ask Harley's foster mom to come up with one word that describes Harley, the word that she would choose would be "perfect" She is very gentle with everything and everyone. She is housebroken, and knows basic commands with treats. She walks well on a leash and loves to go for a walks. We do not know how she would do with a cat, but I think she would do just fine. Harley came to us as an owner surrender and in heat, so we have been unable to get her spayed as of yet, but will before she goes to her new home. If you are interested in adopting Harley, she would love to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
