My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy has lived her life as a breeding dog and has obviously been overbred. She is aprx. 4 years old and weighs 15#'s. She can be all JRT - and then not so much JRT!! She came to our rescue with 7 pups. Puppies always adopt quickly, but mama dogs usually wait patiently until the right person comes along.

Sassy is currently in a foster home with many other dogs. She cares nothing about playing with other dogs. She simply wants to be my companion. She loves riding in the car and does so quietly. She loves piddling with my hubby in his shop and just enjoys strolling around my large fenced yard. She needs property to roam and satisfy her hunting instinct. Sassy is great on a leash. She enjoys curling up with you to read or watch TV. She snuggles with you in bed.

She tolerates other dogs, but would be best as the only dog. Sassy will make someone a perfect companion dog!

Sassy is spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative and on flea and heartworm preventative.

Sassy is in foster care in East Tennessee and will be transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport and they charge $125 for their services. The dog's vet records are handed off when you claim your pup. An adoption fee to cover our vetting costs also applies
