My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Meridia. I was rescued from a shelter after being picked up as a stray- adopted then brought back because I was heartworm positive. Luckily my rescuer has had me treated, so we got rid of the nasty things. I am ready for my fur-ever home.

I think I am about 3 years old. I weigh about 30 lbs. So my foster Mom thinks I am a good size. I am very smart; I know sit and respond to my name. My favorite thing is playing ball, you throw it and I will fetch it and bring it back to you. I am crate trained and I know some basic commands like sit. I am good for my bath and my groomer says I behaved extremely well for grooming.
I like attention but am not too demanding. Kids older than 5 are ok with me. I like other dogs but not sure about cats as my foster Mom doesn't have any.
