Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Carter, a 3 month old border collie/ terrier mix who came to us recently along with his 3 sisters. He is a really sweet boy, with typical puppy energy but calm the second you pick him up. He is still settling in at his foster home, so we will update you as we learn more!
We don't know anything about Carter's parents, so he needs to be adopted by someone willing to take pot luck in terms of his breed and how big he grows! Since he's still young, he needs a family where someone is home part or all day to get him potty-trained as well as keep him exercised (a must for Border Collies) and socialized.
You can meet Carter at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the adoption process first.
Carter's adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, flea & tick preventative, deworming, microchip and neuter.
