Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.

This is Charlie.

Charlie is a sweet and very special dog. He first came to the shelter as a stray but has since moved into a wonderful foster home. His right back leg does not bend. He had a previous injury that was not treated properly, so his knee and femur are fused together. He doesn’t let his disability stop him!

He loves to run around and play with toys! He has learned to use stairs and can even get up on the couch. He is great with dogs and people alike. When not chasing after a ball, he loves to sit and cuddle with his humans. Charlie is house trained and crate trained. He is very food motivated and eager to please. He would do great in an obedience class. Charlie is an amazing and sweet dog who deserves to find his forever home. This boy will steal your heart! .
