BOSCO's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

BOSCO's Story...
Bosco is a male 2 year old Border Collie Mix, possibly mixed with mini Australian Shepherd. He is black and white with a 3/4 tail (we are not sure if this is naturally docked) and a really nice semi rough coat. Bosco has such an outgoing, happy-go-lucky personality and fabulous disposition. He has not yet met a person he does not like, as he bonds with new people quickly. Bosco would make a nice family dog with his even temperament.

Bosco is well socialized and likes the company all of dogs he has met, male and female alike. He especially likes his gal pal Sundae. Bosco crates up nicely, walks well on a leash, and knows some basic obedience commands. Bosco has not been evaluated with cats, so we have no idea how he would do with them. If you are looking for a nice all around little dog, then Bosco is your dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOSCO, a San Pedro Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
