Here's what the humans have to say about me:
13 Weeks Old
Wilbur is hoping his forever family is coming soon. They are missing some fun times watching him grow through his puppy stage. Now, in his 13th week, Wilbur is nearly 4 pounds.. At his foster home, he is a social butterfly with little neighborhood girls knocking on the door to see if he can come out to play. He loves to play with kids, dogs and toys. He did well on his Easter egg hunt, finding and emptying at least half of the eggs that were set out for three dogs. He continues to improve on his doggie skills: housetraining (not 100%); crate training (cries when a human is around, but does well when a human isn’t) and leash training (still has work to do). He has totally mastered snuggling. He loves being near his person. If you are Wilbur’s forever home, please complete our on-line application so you can watch for yourself what he will do when he is 14 or 15 weeks old!
12 Weeks Old
Wilbur is a 3 pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix puppy. He is 12 weeks old. A spunky little guy, he likes dogs and people both. He is beginning his leash, crate, and house training in his foster home, but will need to work on all in his new forever home. He can be trained to use a potty pad, which he does use sometimes now. Wilbur has learned to walk UP stairs, but then barks when he is stuck because he hasn’t learned to walk DOWN yet. He is a fun pup who would be ok with kids or other pets.
Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.
