Our Adoption Process...
We run an initial application, once we get that back we run the vet check and home check, to do all we can do to ensure that our animals are going to the best homes possible. Once all that is complete, we do a meet and greet to make sure the animal matches the new owners to be. If all is well and everyone is happy, we have a contract that has to be adhered to that needs to be signed. The last step is an adoption donation that helps to cover some of the fees that we have had to put into the animal in order to make them adoptable. When all is said and done, we follow up here and there to make sure all is well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Clinton Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Clinton, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
