Cheeky & Misty's Story...
Cheeky is 4yrs old and Misty is 3 yrs old. Cheeky is a bit more social, but Misty is coming around with the attention she is getting here. They get along very well with each other and are very bonded. They will only be adopted out together. If you are interested in giving these girls their furever home, please let us know!

Their adoption fee is $125 and includes a 3 month supply of food, hay, hay cubes, dust, treats, wood chews, a 75 page care binder and a fleece hammock.

I also have a Feisty Ferret cage available for a donation of $100. Here is a link for information on the cage. The cage will have chinchilla safe wooden shelves in it and will include the water bottle and food dish.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheeky & Misty, a Jacksonville Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
