Bennie's Story...
Hi my name is Bennie. I am about 6 years old. I am a sweet boy and I love attention. I love to be a lap dog although I am a little too big for that.(I weigh 35 lbs). I do get to be a lap dog on occasion. I would enjoy being able to sleep in my humans bed at night because I like to snuggle. I am a good watchdog and will let you know when someone is coming. I have a lovely thick coat of fur and love to have my ears and head scratched. I would love to have a fenced in yard to play in. I may be middle-aged but I can still run fast. I stay in the house and sleep and stay off the furniture for the most part but sometimes I do like to sleep in a chair. I could be someones best friend. I am a wonderful dog and companion. If you are interested in adopting Bennie, email for more info and an application. Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates.
Bennie is located near Knoxville TN

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bennie, a Allentown Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
